The Sharksfin

Sharksfin

Looking out onto Mevagissey harbour, The Sharksfin takes local sourcing to a new level with vegetables from nearby Lobbs Farm, strawberries from Boddington's and fish landed fresh each day at the quayside. Whether you fancy a pint of Tribute and a chat with the locals, a quick bite to eat or a full meal, the Sharksfin offers wonderful food and drink in comfortable and relaxing surroundings.

 

The Fountain Inn

fountainThe Fountain Inn is a 15th century Inn located at the foot of Cliff Street and has two bars - the 'Smugglers Bar' with its tales of smuggling illicit rum and brandy and the 'Front Bar' which has been slightly altered over the years but the oak beams, slate floor and fireplace are all original.  Food is served in the bar from 12 till 2pm Monday to Sunday, and from 6pm till 9pm Monday to Saturday. Why not book a seat in our small Restaurant in the evening.

The Salamander

salamanderAt Salamander your friendly hosts Mark and Hazel ensure that all meals are prepared and cooked on the premises. Their dedication to utilising the highest quality Cornish Produce is evident in the mouthwatering array of delicacies on the menu such as Smoked Salmon and Pumpkin Cakes, Cornish Potted Crab and Rack of Lamb, complimented by an extensive wine list.

A warm welcoming environment enjoying fine cuisine utilising local Cornish produce, freshly landed seafood and the finest cuts of Cornish meats. All food is cooked to order allowing you time to unwind whilst you enjoy a glass of fine wine and the hospitalty of your hosts-Thierry and Alycia.

 

The Wheal House

There are still plenty of non fish alternatives, you can be assured of a superb lunch or evening meal as everything is made with care on the premises using fresh local ingredients..
